About us
Our firm was founded in 1982 by Mr. NII who studied French patent system in CEIPI. Mr. Takashi KOSHIBA succeeded the firm since Mr. NII passed away suddenly in 1988.
Our firm has a successful experience in infringement litigation in Tokyo High Court. Our firm was elected as one of the Japanese patent prosecutors in 2012 in IAM 1000. We have three ex-examiners: T. Koshiba, M and Mme. Ohara. Mme. Ohara who is a medical doctor and a specialist of biotechnology is an expert in case laws study. M. Ohara has many disciples whom he trained during his long carrier as chief trail examiner. We have supported establishments of several basic patents important in business in Japan in which we pride and honor.
